When Ink is enabled in a Boom Card this allows the student to draw on the card! This can be used in many ways from showing their work in a math problem, practicing writing letters, and many more!

Ink is a new feature that is currently in Beta, we are working on improving this feature as it moves on to final stages. We truly appreciate all feedback we receive about this feature as we work to improve it.

How to add Ink to your Boom Cards:

You can either Allow Ink or Require ink, Allow Ink will allow the student to draw on the card if they want to but will allow them to move on and get a correct answer without drawing. Requiring Ink will require Ink to be used to allow the student to move forward in the deck.

Ink can be enabled in the Deck details underneath the Media Options shown below in any card except the template card.

How to Grade Cards That Use Ink:

Cards that use Ink will need to be Manually graded by the teacher. For more information about manual grading, check out this article: Human Scoring for Open Response Fill in the Blank

What Will Student See?

They will see a Draw Button on the Side under the Submit Button that will open up their ability to choose the color to draw with and reset their screen (clear their drawings) if they messed up while drawing.
