In order to use the Boom Add-On for Google Classroom, you’ll need your Google administrator to turn it on for you.
Your administrator might be:
- The individual who provided you with your username, such as name@your-company.com.
- Someone within your IT department or Help desk.
- The person responsible for managing your email service or website.

Using the Boom Add-on also requires a school or district-managed Boom account. Your school can get you started with a free trial, or they can set you up with a subscription.
